Here’s the thing. Card processing and reward fulfilment are two different things. The bank takes care of your card, while we’re the ones in charge of carrying out MoneySmart rewards. Essentially, we need to get confirmation from them, which takes around 3 to 4 weeks. 

To adhere with PDPA guidelines, we always need to conduct our own verification for MoneySmart rewards eligibility. The reason why there's a gap between the time you receive your card and reward is that we can only kick start the verification process once we get the approved list of applicants from the bank.
