We understand that there is an issue with Citibank that some customers are not receiving their application reference numbers. We are currently working with Citibank now to resolve this issue. 

In the meantime, please do the following:

  1. Submit an application form first to have your details recorded , you can fill in the reference number field as “I did not receive an application number from Citi after submission”
  2. Check with Citi Customer Service for your reference number. We suggest you make a call to them at +65 6225 5225 to get faster responses from them.
  3. Submit another entry when you have retrieved your reference number from Citi CS

The application reference number we will need is an 12 alphanumeric characters. Example of an email can be found below:

Unfortunately, as much as we want to help, due to PDPA, MoneySmart does not have application data recorded on our database. The only way to get your application number is to get in touch with Citi.

Just to note, this is only happening with a handful of customers. We are working hard internally to resolve this with Citibank as soon as possible. Should you have missed the deadline for claim submissions, please state this reason to our friendly customers service representatives. They will be able to help you with the claim submissions.
